Taking action for responsible purchases
Ethics are a primary value for us, and the reason why we drafted the Responsible Purchases Charter.
This clearly states the principles behind Human Rights, labour rights, environment protection and the fight against corruption.
We make sure that all our suppliers and manufacturers sign the Charter and follow the 10 principles of the UN World Pact.
Guarantee a more responsible production Since 2017, Damart has been supporting the ICS (Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability*).
To make sure our suppliers’ follow the ICS, independent auditors check that the UN World Pact principles are complied with.

The On Seniors Side Foundation
Being on the senior’s side means committing to help senior’s well-being and health.
That’s why we created the On Senior’s Side Foundation. Each team member is encouraged to be involved.
There are 3 ways to help:
- Act in favour of Senior Members’ well-being and contribute to keeping them at home as long as possible
- Encourage inter-generation relationships
- Support carers

The commitment charter for the 50+ in the company
Employing people above 50 requires specific attention. Damartex signed the Commitment Charter for employees that are over 50.
This unique Act comes with 10 key commitments around Hiring, Training, Safeguarding Employment, Support in Career Evolution, alongside Well-Being at work, Retiring and raising awareness to stereotypes related to age.
Gender equity commitment
Since 2019, all companies have to calculate and publish their professional gender equity. Damart scored 94/100 in 2021, which we’re really proud of.
Our results keep improving thanks to the dynamic approach launched for the past several years in favour of gender equity, and we’ll keep going.
